I don t succeed to find again the conversation or the flashlight so i build this topic.

We were talking about the pop UP camera and his flashlight when the camera stay in the phone, how to use the flashlight ?

So here is my idea.

What do you think to put a simple light on the top of the phone ?

So currently we find only the pop up camera maybe an additional slot is available for a light ?

For the flashlight the plan is to have 2 flash LED. As this component is cheap it’s probably the easier option to just add one LED.
So there would be :
– One LED in the camera module to use as camera flash.
– One LED on top of the metal frame.

Alternative ideas were :
– using flash light through the LCD while camera is closed. But this might burn the LCD. And we don’t know how well it would work.
– Using a mirror to redirect light up when camera is closed. But as far as we thought about it that would need to increase thickness of the phone.

So two flash LED seems to be the easier.

Bonne idée de la lumière sur la tranche, certaines marques le font et ça semble pratique quand on a besoin de juste la lumière (Petit bricolage de dernière minute)
