@MrDoomy ravi que l’idée plaise 🙂April 28, 2020 at 6:49 pm #1109Salut,
E-ink
April 30, 2020 at 11:20 pm #1121Fibre optique, pour quel usage?
May 1, 2020 at 10:59 pm #1128Donc une seule LED alimentée en fibre optique, j’ai bien compris ou le traducteur se trompe ?
May 4, 2020 at 6:02 am #1145You are talking about the LCD backlight LEDs? Or for the flashlight LED?
Eink doesn’t have backlight. It can have front light though. But using optic fibers seems very difficult to do to take advantage of LCD backlight for Eink front light. It would probably be more expensive than the LED for eink front light. Also I think the front light LED are much different than the LCD backlight’s.May 4, 2020 at 9:41 pm #1149L’idée est de rester surement sur un téléphone abordable en termes de prix, car la technologie s’est cool, mais peut être que la technologie avant-gardiste va faire flamber le tarif de vente… !
May 6, 2020 at 9:20 am #1155Instead of the usual LCD, i Would love to see a Transflective display on the “pro” version, so that if you are in a bright room or outside, you can use your phone without any brightness on, and this vs a traditional LCD means:
– No eyestrain – No headhace – No Nausea – No Photofobia – No Light Sensitiveness – etc – etc
– 95% less power consumption (use no backlight in 85% scenario)
– Faboulous natural readability under sunlight or bright room scenario.
– Faboulous readability in very low light scenario (use normal backlight).
– Faboulous FPS speed (Clearink Display claim to have 33 FPS).
– Faboulous natural color representation (almost 100% srgb or better)
– Thin as Oled
– Light as Oled
– Low costDefinetly. Clearink is HUGE. We should dont let the thing eclipse like PixelQI. The future is not in 8gb of ram vs 16. The future is on “helpful” and “smart” things
May 17, 2020 at 12:21 pm #1175@Leorioki so far no news from ClearInk. I’m not entirely sure if they technology is ready for production for smartphone application at least. And maybe they want to deal with big players first… I heard in a video of their 2019 CES that they got contact with most of big players in different electronic industry.
May 17, 2020 at 9:41 pm #1177Disons qu’en ce moment les entreprises sont un peu chahutées… lol!
